Game Trading (swapping)
How many times have you bought a game, played it for a couple of weeks, then put
it away never to be played again? Sure, you can try to sell it back to the game store for
a fraction of what you paid for it… Or you could try to auction it off on eBay. But
usually the best way to get value out of your used games is to trade them with your
friends...
You know how it works… You've just finished Grand Theft Auto III and your
friend has just finished Enter the Matrix. You both want to play each other's
games, so you swap. Now imagine if you could do that same thing with the entire
gaming community in Australia!

Game Buying/Selling
After our initial launch, many of our members were frustrated because there were often times
when the members with the games they wanted did not want any of their games. What was needed was
a means for them to simply make cash offers to other members if a trade was not possible. As of
v2.0 any member can make a cash offer to any other member for any game in their catalogue.
And unlike other popular websites (-cough- eBay -cough-) selling your games on GameTrade.com.au is 100% FREE!

We are continuously updating our database with new games, but if you have a game that is not in
there, just tell us and we'll add it. We also plan to offer other gaming platforms to the GameTrade database
(GameBoy Colour, Super Nintendo, etc). These will be added based on demand. So email

Who's behind the curtain?
GameTrade was conceived and built by a small team of
dedicated gamers in early 2003 and is a property of Game Trade Australia Pty Ltd.
The directors of Game Trade Australia Pty Ltd are James Coombes and Bruce Coombes.
Game Trade Australia Pty Ltd is headquartered in Sydney.
The creative design for GameTrade.com.au was provided by Rom Zamora.
